Famous Dave’s is a barbecue restaurant chain in the US famous for offering multiple flavors of barbecue sauce along pork ribs, beef brisket or chicken. It was founded in 1994 by Dave Anderson in Hayward, Wisconsin.
It is believed that Dave spent two decades perfecting his recipes before finally opening the first restaurant. He was CEO until 1997 and chairman till 2003.
In a rare eventuality, the founder, Anderson, earned a Harvard University master’s degree in Public Administration without having an undergraduate degree first.
